Help Boocoo Cultural Center and Cafe

Come out Sunday, October 2 and join the community at Boocoo Cultural Center and Cafe for an open house and fundraiser.  From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. enjoy music, dance, fun and a silent auction while helping keep the lights on at Boocoo. (click 'Read more' below  for the schedule and details).

• 3:00 - Hip Hop Dance
• 3:15 - Boocoo Teen Rock Band
• 3:45 - Miah Logan Drumming
• 4:15 - Mike Zabrin Jazz
• 5:00 - Mayor Tisdahl, Alderman Holmes, Cozeake Nelson (New Leaf Garden)

Boocoo, located at the corner of Church and Dodge Streets in Evanston, offers music classes, private music lessons for all instruments, dance classes, movement/fitness classes, a recording studio, a computer lab, a performance space and a café. Boocoo is also a performance venue, offering live music and events throughout the year. The attractive facility is also available for private rentals at affordable prices.
 
Boocoo LLC is a project of the Enterprise Development Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation. its building uses a geothermal heating and cooling system, and was built with many recycled materials in order to leave a small environmental footprint.
