9th District Congressional Candidates Face Off

Sunday, Oct. 10, at 2 pm, multiple local chapters of the League of Women Voters will sponsor a forum for two of the candidates for Congress from the 9th Congressional District of Illinois, incumbent Democratic congresswoman Jan Schakowsky and Republican challenger Joel Pollak. A third candidate, the Green Party's Simon Ribeiro, is not included.

The forum, which is not a direct debate but is one of the few joint appearances of the two major party candidates on one stage this season, will take place at Niles North High School, 9800 N. Lawler (parking on the north side of the building, off Old Orchard Rd.). Doors open at 1:30 PM.
