Pipe of Death

Pipe jutting out from railroad embankment fence on northbound Green Bay at the canal, in the summer of 2009. A real potential hazard for bicyclists especially at night. This pipe was apparently a section of fence that someone stuck into the fence after a repair. It would periodically inch its way out, and then eventually it would be shoved back, and the cycle would repeat over some months. After I posted this pic on this site, the City of Evanston sprung into rapid action, and the pipe disappeared for good.
