Jacky’s Bistro to reopen as Jacky’s on Prairie

Good news has come from Executive Chef Jonadab Silva who reports that Jacky’s Bistro will be reopening as Jacky’s on Prairie. Under new management, Silva will be partnering with restaurateur David Lipschutz, both of Blind Faith Café on Dempster St. in Evanston.

Silva promises classical French cuisine and a wine cellar featuring over 150 wines. There will be minimal renovation to the 100 seat restaurant. Look for Jacky’s to reopen in mid-October.

I first of all want to thank all of you who helped me run last spring for the office of Evanston Township Assessor.
I am pleased to announce that at the Cook County Republican Party Convention held at the Rosemont Convention Center on Sept. 25-26, I was endorsed by my party to run for Cook County Assessor.
It is truly an honor and I know I have alot of work ahead before the primary on Feb. 2.
Cook County does need change and I know I am well qualified for the position.
