I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for your support and encouragement throughout this past local election.
After my tenure with the YMCA, I placed considerable focus on the establishment of my business and on the early years of my children’s lives. This election represented a long held desire to reconnect with my community in a productive manner. I could not have imagined the encouragement I received along the road. I sincerely thank you for reigniting a passion to serve and a desire to personally contribute to the future vision of our City.
For the 6th Ward, I believe we have found a common connection to an ideal we look for in our elected officials. Personally, I have extended my congratulations to Mark Tendam and have offered my support as he looks to represent us in the years ahead. There will be some tough decisions ahead for the next Council and they will certainly benefit from our involvement and engagement. We may not always agree but we can certainly strive to meaningfully contribute to the solution.
In the near term, I hope to apply what I have gained from this experience and find new pathways for productive service within Evanston. I very much view this as a beginning versus an end and I look forward to sharing my discoveries.
Thank you again for pushing me to be a better candidate and, now, a better citizen.
Christopher Hart

Stay involved, Chris
"Supporters" of Chris Hart were not the only ones who appreciated his running. Christopher Hart ran hard, ran a positive campaign, challenged his competition, and made positive contributions to the conversation in the community. A campaign is like a months-long job interview, conducted in public, and as such can be an awkward way to "get to know one another." However, we're glad we did.
