Video from congressional forum online

We have been working on editing and posting manageable segments of video from the February 4 forum featuring six candidates for the Democratic nomination to represent the 9th Congressional District that includes all of Evanston. As of this writing we have about half the forum up and hope to complete the rest within a few days. In the meantime, if you missed the forum or were there and want to review, or share with a friend, you can view individual questions at your leisure from the links below or at our YouTube channelhttps://www.youtube.com/@CSNA-Evanston.

Forum questions posted to date are as follows:

  1. Constitutional rightswhat top things candidates would legislate to protect rights under attack.
  2. Independent agencieswhat candidates propose to protect federal "independent agencies."
  3. Middle East: what Congress should have done differently with respect to Israel and Palestine
  4. Military spendingwhat cuts, if any, candidates would make in military spending
  5. Artificial intelligence: how they would deal with the greatest threats they perceive from AI
  6. "Pathway to citizenship": measures they propose as a pathway for those not here legally
  7. Bipartisanshiphow they would work with, and represent, those who aren't Democrats
  8. K-Shaped economywhat measures they favor to support the challenged middle class

We apologize that due to a technical glitch, camera resolution after the first several questions is low. However, the audio is clear and we have added captions to make clear who is speaking.
Again, watch this space for the remainder of the forum to be posted.
