We’ve gathered four fearless women who are shaping the future of their communities in powerful ways.
Trustee Brittney Norwood of Dolton will share her brave stand against corruption, as she helped expose the mishandling of government funds and collaborated with the FBI to hold officials accountable. Hear firsthand how she is working to restore justice and bring real change to Dolton.
Trustee Kiana Belcher brings her passionate leadership and insight into what it takes to lead with integrity at the local government level, discussing the power of grassroots change and the importance of staying connected to the people.
Lisa Degliantoni of Evanston Made will dive into the importance of creativity in building strong, inclusive communities and how arts and culture drive economic development and social impact.
Alecia Wartowski of Foundation 65 will share her expertise on educational equity and the critical work being done to ensure that all students have access to quality resources and opportunities, regardless of their background.

Join us at 2715 Hurd Avenue from 6 PM to 8 PM for a live recording of Where The People Meet TV, featuring an incredible line-up of community leaders, advocates, and students.
We’re sitting down with Trustees Belcher and Norwood, who are cooperating with the Feds in an investigation into the alleged mishandling of government funds by Mayor Tiffany Henyard. They’ll reveal the red flags they uncovered and the steps they took to ensure action.
