Canal Shores "Bluegrass on the Greens" set for October 6

Canal Shores Golf Course will host its annual fundraising event, "Bluegrass on the Greens” on Friday, October 6 beginning at 6 p.m.

This year’s fundraiser is a family event, featuring the bluegrass band EMORY GAP – a well known local Evanston group.

The concert and party will celebrate the end of a great season of golf and activities at Canal Shores. Attendees are invited to bring blankets lawn chairs, picnic baskets, family and friends for this music performance and lawn party on the patio and fairways (and under a tent if needed – or at the Legion Hall).

A tax-deductible donation of $25 will include music and activities. There will be a cash bar, food trucks and a fire in the new beautiful new Canal Shores fire pit.
