This is a great opportunity to hear about efforts by the Fire and Police Departments to build stronger relationships between residents, businesses and other organizations via the EPFF, which has helped fund a variety of initiatives to improve public safety in Evanston.

Working with the Police and Fire Departments, the EPFF identifies needed programs, equipment, and technology within the community and creates partnerships with local organizations and individuals to meet these needs.

We know that strong collaboration and communication with Evanston’s public safety departments is a key factor for many of your organizations and we wanted to make sure you were aware of this opportunity to interact with Chiefs Eddington and Klaiber.

After brief presentations, both will be available to answer any questions from guests.

The meeting is scheduled from noon to 1:15 p.m., Jan. 29, at the Rotary International Building, 1560 Sherman Ave. in downtown Evanston.
