The North Shore Mosquito Abatement District will be conducting adult mosquito control spraying in what appears, according to the District's map, all of Evanston tonight, Monday, July 9, between 8:00 pm and 2:00 am, "weather permitting." Somewhat more information is available on the NSMAD website. However, no explanation of why there is spraying for mosquitos amidst drought conditions when most soil and yards are dry as a bone. :|
