Library Director to Meet with CSNA June 6

After more than two years of uncertainty and upset in the community over our libraries, the Library Board appointed a new Director this spring. Karen Danczak Lyons, most recently the acting first commissioner of the Chicago Public Library, comes to Evanston with an extremely strong background of experience in a system with a commitment to a network of neighborhood libraries.

The Central Street Neighbors Association is delighted that Director Lyons has accepted our invitation to share ideas and views with us at the North Branch. Please come to show our neighborhood's continuing interest in and support for a strong, independent library system.
