State fiscal forum in Glenview 9/20

Thursday evening, September 20, at 7pm, at Wagner Farm, 1510 Wagner Road, Glenview, State Rep. Daniel Biss (D.-Evanston) will host a forum to discuss the state of Illinois's continuing budget mess and directions for solutions. The discussion promises to be spirited, as guest speakers are Ralph Martire, Executive Director of the Center for Tax and Budget Accountability, which generally favors additional revenue increases, and Laurence Msall, President of the Civic Federation, which through its Institute for Illinois' [sic] Fiscal Sustainability has been in the forefront of arguement for cost-cutting fiscal reform at the state level.
