Combined 5th and 7th Ward Meeting on October 28

Please join Alderman Delores Holmes and me for a combined 5th and 7th Ward Meeting on Thursday, October 28 from 7 to 9 pm in Room LR2 of Northwestern University's Tech Institute at 2145 Sheridan Road.  Parking is available in the lot across the street; please cross at the crosswalks and not mid-block. 
 
Our starting agenda: 
 
Update on the Sheridan Road project, with Suzette Robinson, Director of Public Works and Paul Schneider, City Engineer. 
 
A report on off-campus housing and property standards, with Jeff Murphy, Assistant Director of Property Standards. 
 
Building community through opportunity, with Shanee Jackson, Volunteer Coordinator.  
 

Report from the Evanston and Northwestern University Police Departments from Officer Ron Blumenberg, EPD Problem-Solving Team, and Lieutenant Ronald Godby, NUPD. 
 
Report on the current city budget process, the proposed 3-1-1 city service number, among other things, with Wally Bobkiewicz, City Manager.
