18th Annual Garlic Mustard Pull at Perkins Woods

Cook Co. Commissioner Larry Suffredin and Volunteer Steward, Libby Hill, will be leading the charge!

Evanston’s precious and only Cook County Forest Preserve

(corner of Grant and Ewing, next to Lincolnwood School)

Saturday, May 1 & Sunday, May 2, 2010; 10:00 am to noon, each day

Garlic mustard is a non-native weed that smothers our beautiful native wildflowers. Annual pulling of this weed preserves the health and beauty of the woods. WE’RE MAKING PROGRESS!
