Grace period registration and early voting

For those planning to be out of town on Election Day (spring break), Early Voting begins March 16 and runs through April 2 at the Evanston Civic Center and it includes some Saturday hours. For those not currently registered to vote, Grace Period Registration and Voting begins March 11. If you want to vote during the Grace Period (Cook County Courthouse locations), you will be required to do so the same time as you register or receive an absentee ballot to be completed and returned to the County Clerk by April 7. My web site has more information on qualifications and locations for all voting.

If you would like to find out more about my campaign, go to my web site at www.marktendam.com. Members of my team, Dana Bush and Allison Gordon, have planned more than 12 "coffees" for the weeks to come. For specific dates, times and places, go to www.marktendam.com/events.

There will also be a GOTV (Get Out the Vote) training and canvassing weekend April 4 and 5. My Honorary Chair, Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky, is sponsoring the GOTV events. For information about GOTV, email alex@janschakowsky.org.
