161,000 Boxes of Girl Scout Cookies arrived in Evanston Today

Get ready all of you cookies monsters- the annual girl scout cookie distribution and site sales are about to start. The revenue raised helps the girls and larger council with there activities and camping. 
 This morning at Dempster Street Auto Rebuilders 161,000 boxes of cookies were delivered. With the amazing cooperation, the representatives from over 60 Evanston Troops,  women, men and scouts, separated the individual troop orders and loaded them into mini vans 
It is quite a feat accomplised and one has to have have complete admiration for the folks who orchestrate this operation so beautifully.
 
It was fun to be part of the distribution event. I can only say that it would be phenomenal if governments could operate as efficiently and co-operatively as everyone who helped this morning.
