Last Days of the Evanston Theatres

A flickr user going by BWChicago has posted about 70 pictures of the last days of the Evanston Theatre (originally the Stadium) in an album on the flickr website. His/her album includes many shots of the demolition as well as interior pix of the old Evanston I and/or Evanston II. There's some interesting history as well as user reminiscences in the discussion of the theaters at the "Cinema Treasures" website on them. That website tries to document the disappearing old historic movie houses of the country and takes a sympathetic, preservation-oriented stance.
