Northwestern Football Begins This Saturday

I just wanted to remind our Central Street Neighbors that the 2008 Northwestern Football season begins this Saturday at 11am with a home game against Syracuse. The expected crowd for Saturday's game is about 25,000. Future home games for this season are:

September 13th vs Southern Illinois University at 11am
September 20th vs Ohio University at 11am
October 11th vs Michigan State University (Game time TBA)
October 18th vs Purdue University at 11am
November 8th vs Ohio State University (Time TBA)
November 22nd vs Illinois (Time TBA)

As always we expect there to be a sellout for the Ohio State game with a large amount of activity at Ryan Field all day. Additionally, we expect big crowds for the Michigan State, Purdue and Illinois games. We are continuing to work diligently to make sure that our home games have as little impact on your lives as possible. We greatly appreciate your cooperation and understanding during the football season. If you have comments or concerns about our game day operations, please feel free to e-mail me at j-mack@northwestern.edu.

Sincerely,

John Mack
Associate Athletic Director
