Community members are invited to a presentation on the work thus far on developing a habitat restoration and land use plan for the Canal Shores Golf Course. The meeting will be held on Thurs. Aug. 17 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 2nd floor, 1030 Central St. 

The presentation will include a review of baseline data collected (tree inventory, wildlife inventory, and wetland delineation) and preliminary design concepts for both habitat restoration and passive recreation. After the presentation, we will break into small groups to examine the design concepts in more detail and provide feedback.

There will also have an update on the North Shore Channel Habitat Project.
