American Legion Post 42 Fundraiser on May 20 to support disabled veterans

American Legion Post 42 on Central Street is hosting its 6th Annual Pasta Dinner in Support of the Lovell Legends.

The event is set for Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Legion Hall, 1030 Central Street.  

Funds raised will support the Lovell Legends - a group of disabled veterans who will be competing in multiple sporting events in Cincinnati from July 17-22. This year's team consists of disabled men and women veterans and two coaches. The Post is raising funds to cover costs for these athletes - almost all expenses are paid for by donations. Meals for the veterans are paid for by corporate sponsors on competition days with all other expenses paid for by local donations. 

The local community and Post 42 members are also hosting a raffle and silent auction prizes.  

Dinner tickets are $12 ($15 at the door) with cildren under 6 free.
