Canal Shores - Special 7th Ward Meeting: Tues., May 24, 7 p.m.

Ald. Eleanor Revelle is hosting a community meeting to provide an opportunity for neighbors to hear from representatives of the Evanston Wilmette Golf Course Association and to discuss plans for the future of this important community resource.

The Association has embarked on a multi-year initiative to develop and implement two Master Plans. One Master Plan is to be a redesign of the golf course so as to better serve future generations of golfers. The second Master Plan will focus on providing multi-use recreational opportunities (e.g., pocket parks and paths through the property) and enhancing the ecological health and natural habitat of the property.
