Ecology Center Summer Camps Filling Up Quickly! Register Today!

Time To Register for Evanston Ecology Center Summer Camps

The Evanston Ecology Summer Camps are one of the most popular summer camp options in Evanston.

The camps are located near the Central Street neighborhood area and offer a unique curriculum that combines fun, adventure, and environmental science.

But most of the camps do fill to capacity. So if you are seeking a great summer camp experience for your child, the Ecology Center summer camps are the "Natural Choice" for residents of Evanston and the surrounding communities.

Open registration is now available and fills camp slots on a first-come, first-served basis.  Registration can be accomplished online, by phone, in person, or by regular mail.

The camps are designed for grades K – 8 and run from June 17 through Aug, 23.  Camp sessions are both two and four weeks in length and are led by Ecology Center staff members with backgrounds in education, natural history and recreation.

For more information, visit www.evanstonenvironment.org/Summer_Camps.html, go to the Evanston Ecology Center in person at 2024 McCormick Blvd., or call the Ecology Center (847-448-8256).

The Evanston Ecology Center, built in 1974 by a group of local citizens, serves as a focal point for environmental education and volunteerism in the community.  Its mission is to offer educational programs to the local community that will foster a greater appreciation, awareness and knowledge of the natural environment.  The EEA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the long-term success of the Ecology Center and its staff in their efforts to provide quality environmental and sustainability education to children and adults in the surrounding community.
