Forum on Bullying Tonight in Northfield

Journalist-attorney, author and educator Emily Bazelon will speak tonight at the Northfield campus of New Trier H.S. on the topic of her new book, Sticks and Stones: Defeating the Culture of Bullying with Character and Empathy. The event, timely considering several well-publicized hazing and related occurrences, is co-sponsored by the Family Action Network as well as more than half a dozen area schools and parent groups. The talk will take place in the Corrog Auditorium of the New Trier HS/Northfield Campus, 7 Happ Rd., Northfield at 7 PM. Past events have been very well-attended. So, especially with the snow, plan to arrive early to get a seat. The event is deemed age-appropriate for 12+.
