By unanimous acclimation, members of Central Street Neighbors elected new board members and officers for 2013 at its annual meeting and neighborhood forum held Feb. 20 at Haven School.
John Walsh was elected president and Jeff Smith as vice president, each for a one year term. Elected as board members for two year terms are Carl Bova, Debbie Weixl, Mary Lou Smith, Megan Lutz, and Mike Hartnett.
In announcing the slate, outgoing CSNA President Mark Sloane recognized the work of the board and welcomed those who stood for election. Sloane also thanked and recognized outgoing board member Marge Anderson for her many years of service as secretary and as a founding member of CSNA. Sloane will serve as an ex-officio member of the board as immediate past president. John Zbesko will continue as treasurer. Other members of the Board who will continue through 2014 include Larry Byrne, Susan Hartnett, Jim Hughes, John Simonetti and Anne Viner
The annual meeting featured a special forum for candidates for the District 202 School Board.
