Citizens to Elect Mark Sloane invites all 6th Ward residents and all Evanston residents to "Get the Scoop on Mark," an ice cream social/question and answer session, on Saturday, February 21, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Hartigan's Ice Cream Shoppe, 2909 Central Street.  Bring the kids -- the first 100 kids' scoops are on Mark.

Mark,
     Would you please post your views on the Klutznick/Anderson proposal to build a 38-floor highrise at 708 Church?  As you know, this issue is very important to many Sixth Ward residents, as demonstrated by the many "Stop the Tower" yard signs which were posted last winter in the yards of Sixth Ward homeowners.

I sided with the minority on the council, and the majority on the plan commission, and believe that there should not be a core zone and that block should be at the same maximum height as those surrounding it.
