Ginormous Book Sale on Central Street Starts July 8

The Evanston Public Library Friends, a charitable organization that has worked tirelessly at preserving and expanding access to library services in all Evanston neighborhoods, will reprise their hugely successful 2010 book sale, nicknamed the "Mother of All Booksales," with an event on Saturday, July 9 as well as the July 14-16 extended weekend, at 3000 Central (the former orthodontic office). An earlybird "bookworm" special (with $25 admission) will start Friday, July 8 at 10 AM (dealers welcome); all other times are free.

The booksale will feature a wide variety of titles, including adult and children’s selections, all at bargain prices. Last year's sale featured not only thousands of quality used and vintage (and even antique) books, but also many virtually new titles from the many that are continually donated to the Friends. All proceeds will benefit the programs of EPLF.
