Engage Evanston is a community outreach initiative intended to give residents an opportunity to help shape the City's budget priorities. The first phase ran from May 1 to May 7, 2011 and residents were asked to submit their ideas for generating non-tax revenue and containing costs. Those ideas can be viewed on the City's website here.
