We videotaped the 1 hr. 45 min. forum with all four mayoral candidates on March 5, 2009 at Haven School, and it is now all online in this "book", in segments of one or two questions each. Except for some pauses or asides deleted to save bandwidth, the forum is presented in its entirety.

CSNA Mayoral Forum Question #1: City Character

At the Mar. 5, 2009, Central Street Neighbors Association forum, in a question designed to elicit views on Evanston's character and direction, mayoral candidates Stuart Opdycke, Jeanne Lindwall, Elizabeth Tisdahl, and Barnabay Dinges were asked to address Frances Willard's observation, "There is a celestial Evanston, there is a terrestrial Evanston, and there is a diabolical Evanston. They intersphere at every point and every moment of the day. But we all think the celestial Evanston is in the ascendancy."
