With all the other road closures and construction in the area, north Evanston residents might want to mark their calendars for Friday evening, Oct. 17, 2008, which is the date of the annual Northwestern University Homecoming Parade. Sheridan Road will be temporarily closed on that date for the parade, between Chicago Ave. and Lincoln, starting about 5:30.
